OVERVIEW
Welcome to our Basic Elements™ line of free patterns! They’re wardrobe staples you’ll reach for over and over again. Hat, mittens, and sweater patterns are all available, and we will continue to add more free patterns to this line! We hope you enjoy them.

ABOUT THIS SWEATER PATTERN
A classic pullover is an essential component in every wardrobe. You’ll reach for this simple, comfortable sweater as soon as the temperatures start to drop. With its clean lines and subtle details, it will easily pair with all your shirts, pants and skirts.

This sweater is knit in pieces and sewn together. It features a relaxed crew neck, and tapered, modified set in sleeves. While this is a great first sweater project for a beginner, this is also a pattern you can turn to again and again. Once you’re comfortable with the basic construction, use this pattern as a blank canvas for your own creative expression. Use your stash of leftovers to add stripes. Try different  stitch patterns. The possibilities are endless.
